A community of people who want to evolve the way we transfer money. We want to show how consumers, NPOs, CBOs, and charitable organizations can constantly support one another, making a difference in their communities on a daily basis. We want to live debt free, worry free, and freely give. We want to welcome you into your community. How can you support non-profit charities while buying groceries at the store? By filling your gas tank? Going to the movies?
The Evo mobile payment system allows users the freedom to donate to charities of their choice without costing them… anything. Every day, people swipe their debit cards to support their lifestyle. Our world is rapidly moving into a cashless, globalized society. Credit card companies have tapped into this market for extreme profitability.
If you had to pay a transaction fee for every card purchase you had, you might think twice about using the card. However, this is not the case. Cards grant absolute freedom for consumers to spend their money as they see fit by charging the merchants a fee. Merchants pay those fees to the transaction industry. Evo’s Mobile Pay system is tasked with promoting the security and philanthropy of indivudal users, while saving merchants significant money on their end.
Our goal is to build a win-win system for both user and merchant while supporting causes that speak to the hearts of individuals around the world.
Keep in mind that every transaction is a donation. The backend handling your card swipe generates “x” cents per transaction. Evo’s system gives 1/3 of that transaction to a charity of your choice. These transaction fees are minute, however over periods of time they start to add up. If 10,000 people selected the “Foundation for Breast Cancer” and went out and used their cards, this would add up very quickly.
The idea came in part from an eight year old school girl who set about collecting pennies for charity. Pennies for Sara is a program that has made in a huge difference. This 3rd grader (at the time) was recently on Opra,
where it was made known her foundation raised $200 million last year in spare change. A penny does make a difference. Evo would like to see this happen every day.
Evo’s Mobile Pay system may generate pennies, but through the masses it will make a positive impact for NPO’s and charitable organizations seeking to make a difference.
